Jesse Allen
Jesse is a professional engineer and recent MBA graduate who recently returned to his hometown of Halifax to pursue a career in real estate.
Jesse graduated from Dalhousie University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering. In 2015, after a few years of working as an engineer at Nautel Ltd designing electronic circuits and systems for broadcast transmitters, he earned the designation of a registered Professional Engineer with the province of Nova Scotia. He has since completed an MBA in the Management of Technology and Innovation at Ryerson University in Toronto, graduating in 2017, where he specialized in real estate and technology topics.
During his time at Ryerson, Jesse participated in multiple business case competitions and was Ryerson’s team leader for the 2016 Developers’ Den Real Estate competition. As an engineer, Jesse has a knack for problem solving and analysis which came in handy during his major research paper studying the impact of construction on home prices along a major transportation corridor in Toronto. This research combined with his analytical acumen led to project work with Regionomics Inc., a Canadian consulting firm specializing in real estate markets, urban planning, and data analytics.
Jesse has a number of hobbies and interests that keep him balanced when he’s not busy selling real estate. He is an avid guitar player, hobbyist music producer, fitness enthusiast, as well as brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and active competitor.
Jesse was born and raised in Halifax and believes this city has great potential and a bright future which is why he is excited about following in his father’s footsteps and pursuing a career in real estate.
