Laura was born in Etobicoke, Ontario, and spent her formative years in the picturesque rural setting of Bancroft, Ontario, just south of the renowned Algonquin Provincial Park. Her upbringing in this serene environment fostered a deep appreciation for nature and a diverse array of skills and hobbies. An accomplished artist, Laura expresses her creativity through painting, drawing, crocheting, sewing, and stained glass work. Her talents extend into the culinary arts as well, where she enjoys baking and making her own preserves. Additionally, she is an avid outdoors enthusiast, engaging in fishing and hunting.

Family plays a central role in Laura's life. She is a proud mother of two children—a daughter and a son—and a loving stepmother to three stepsons and a stepdaughter. Her family has grown to include seven wonderful grandchildren, comprising four girls and three boys.

Academically and professionally, Laura's achievements are extensive and varied. She holds a diploma as a Legal Assistant and has earned all her seals through the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario. Furthermore, she is a licensed real estate agent and has completed most of her Bachelor of Science degree, which she is still diligently working towards. Laura is also in the process of finishing her certification with the Appraisal Institute of Canada.

Throughout her career, Laura has amassed a wealth of experience across multiple fields. She has worked as a florist, appraiser, legal assistant, real estate agent, and retail sales representative in both grocery and hardware stores. Her varied background reflects her adaptability, dedication, and diverse skill set.

Laura currently serves the communities of Inverness County, Victoria County, and Richmond County. She is also available to extend her services to CBRM, Antigonish, and Guysborough upon request. She is married and continues to balance her professional endeavors with her rich family life and personal interests.
